About Our Academy

Founded on Faith, Built on Love, Focused on Your Child

Founded in 2006 in the basement of founders Mantevius and Angelique Jackson, Angels In Progress Academy began with a simple yet powerful vision: that every child deserves a QUALITY education that nurtures the whole child—mind, spirit, and heart. What started as a step of faith has grown into a thriving learning community that has impacted the lives of more than 2,000 students. Today, Angels In Progress Academy proudly serves children from Douglasville and surrounding communities on our beautiful campus, remaining committed to excellence, purpose, and Christ-centered growth.

    A Word From Our Principal

    Principal's Letter

    Principal Angelique Jackson

    Greetings,

I would first like to acknowledge that Angels In Progress Academy is God's school, not my own. God has blessed me with a deep passion for teaching and for sharing His word through our children. The mission at Angels In Progress Academy is to establish a strong and unwavering foundation—one that cannot be broken. While that foundation may be tested as students continue their educational journey, its strength remains intact once a child becomes a Warrior at Angels In Progress Academy.

I stepped out on faith to establish a school where students receive a QUALITY education where they are nurtured to understand who they are and to whom they belong. I firmly believe that every student learns at a unique pace, and for this reason, it is essential to cultivate an environment grounded in passion, patience and purpose. At Angels In Progress Academy, we are committed to recognizing each student's strength while thoughtfully addressing areas for growth. Our goal is to develop confident learners who are prepared to embrace challenges, whether large or small.

It was never my original vision to own a school, rather, my vision was to pour my heart into teaching every student placed in my path. I was once reminded not to limit God, as His plans far exceed our own understanding. Today, I am both humbled and grateful to have been entrusted with this calling.

I extend a warm welcome to families seeking a Christian based educational environment that values faith, respect, and community. Angels In Progress Academy is a place where students are encouraged to grow at their own pace, develop confidence and self respect, and form meaningful, lasting relationships.

    With sincere gratitude and commitment,
